(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - The Israeli Foreign Ministry criticised the television interview conducted by Egyptian TV with freed Israeli soldier Gilad Shalit, shortly before he was handed over to the Israeli side and described as "shameful".
Israeli Foreign Ministry spokesman Yigal Palmor told the Hebrew radio on Tuesday that the interview which was imposed on Shalit before he return to "his country" reflects insensitivity towards him, adding that “it was a shameful thing that Egyptian television should not be proud of”.
Israeli security officials said that the short interview was conducted despite the fact that Israeli authorities ban on airing any pictures of Shalit before his arrival to “Israel".
